We got to talking about music, in particular about P-Funk's classic stage show, and the guy said, "Ever see a guy playing guitar in a diaper?" I was like, yeah, I remember seeing that. So he says, "That's me." I'm said no way, but he had a scrapbook and everything. Charles Johnson, I think his name was. He played bass with George Clinton's group during the Bootsy era. Funny, huh? I find it a little sad that he's doing security to pay the rent, but he didn't seem at all downtrodden, if anything really happy and outgoing. Talked about the relationships he formed with a lot of the students and how much he liked them.
