I am disgusted.
My only consolation is that, as was mentioned to me this morning by a certain young lady, history has proven to be a very severe judge of bigotry. I can only hope that when this menace is finally removed from power, change will begin sooner rather than later.
And finally, as Ari reminded us this evening, please register to vote. Because things may be bad…but they could get worse.

hi just found your blog and the its name got me curious. is it supposed to be the portuguese word for complain or is it just a coincidence?

No coincidence. One of my first posts was about that. I used to be obsessed with Portuguese, but experience with foreign language classes in college kind of soured me on language classes, and I’ve never had the cash to go to Brasil, not to mention being kind of scared of the place. So my Portuguese skills are next to nothing at this point.

obsessed with portuguese? queixa is the portuguese word for complaint and is the thing portuguese people do better: they only complaint! complaint even about the weather… (I’m portuguese)
