Inkblot Security

Microsoft researchers have come up with a way to help people remember passwords – have them base them on pseudo-Rorshach-test inkblots. Turns out everyone sees and describes them differently, so if you string enough together, the description each person comes up with will be pretty difficult to crack. Take a look at the test blobs on the MS website. I’ll post what I saw as a comment, so it doesn’t influence you…

    1. Baby stuck upside-down into a disembodied robot waist. Hey, don’t ask me, I didn’t put him there.
    2. A huge man doing a split and touching his humongous feet. Possibly The Maxx.
    3. I can’t imagine that smoking two cigars at once is gonna help keep that incredibly bright lipstick of hers on.
    4. Um…um…uh….
    5. Milo from the Phantom Tollbooth. But now he’s French. And in the army. And there are two of him.
    6. Who knew that Wonder Woman would end up stripping on webpages? The superhero business seemed so promising…
    7. Definitely a gigantic green fly. He seems like kind of a nerd too.
    8. Two gigantic purple men with little green heads guarding a very important grey “X.”
    9. Eew! An insect woman with legs! That is REALLY creepy. I don’t even want to know what else is going on in that picture.
    10. A dumb winged creature attempting to hide the purple man behind him.

So, beaxinuhmmwgdotxeeam. That’s quite a password. Although something tells me I may have done something wrong. ;)
