I came upon your blog looking for a solution. I was hoping Apple would have added such a capabilty to iTunes by now, but alas not. There is a program called<a href="http://www.three-2-one.de/321apps/" rel="nofollow">MP3voodoo</a> which has the right idea, but doesn't pull the info from iTunes. It's its own mp3 jukebox, though it does interact with iTunes a bit. It too hasn't been updated in a year or so, and doesn't pull art from the files themselves, rather it stores an art file in the album directory. If you find anything, I'd love to hear about it.
