This one set my bullshit detector bleeping like crazy. It's just so incredibly cheesy: The Journey-era hair, the USA sweatshirt, the mugging he does for the camera, the really poorly done effect with the firefighters walking in the clouds. I thought nothing could be that ridiculous unintentionally.

But it appears to be genuine! And it still baffles me. I mean, it's pretty easy to have an attempt at a powerful, sincere statement turn out lame. But to create such a pitch-perfect cheesefest without any ironic intentions? That takes, uh, talent. Of some sort.

The lyrics, which are written out on the website, seem somewhat reminiscent of The Gypsy Song from Fraggle Rock - how strange.
