Upcoming Shows

I’ve got a few shows coming up, and I thought you might like to know about them.

April 7th at Pianos

First up, I’ll be playing with my sister as part of The Melting Pot. It’s a new monthly show headlined by the father of ukelele rap, Jon Braman, showcasing artists from various parts of the folk-soul continuum. If you’ve been seeing her at our shows, here’s your chance to see Marie do some more of her originals. I’ll do some of mine too.

Arthur & Marie Lewis
Wednesday, 4/7 in The Melting Pot
Pianos (upstairs)
158 Ludlow St.
7-10 PM

April 24th at Hunter College High School

Then a benefit concert at my alma mater with the full band. Admission is free, but donations are suggested. Also appearing are Michal Towber, Malini Sur, and a reunion of the HCHS Jazz Chorus.
If you’re on Facebook, you can RSVP here.

Happy Spring!

Happy Spring, everybody! As usual, I’ve got big ideas kicking around in my head that I’ve been meaning to write about here, but they still need some herding and refinement.

Until then, I have something to tide you over and help you celebrate the season. Until April 15th, I’m offering my EP, If We Were, for free on Bandcamp, my new favorite site for musicians. You can visit my page at arthurlewis.bandcamp.com, or just download it here.
