I gotta say, this is getting ridiculous. It’s a nice idea, but everyone’s glommed onto it and now webpages from here to Tanzania all start with “Avast, me hearties,” which, along with “landlubbers” and “scurvy dogs” seems to encompass all of most people’s pirate vocabulary. 6 words does not an international holiday make, I’m sorry.

Arr, ye filthy bilge rat. This be treason, and by this very patch on me eye, I’ll see ye walk the plank fer it. 6 words are not enough, aye, but when the Tanzanians fly the Jolly Roger, this I call a holiday. Now fetch me some grog. Smartly now, or I’ll lock ye in me bung hole.

OK, so maybe it should be International Arthur Talks Like A Pirate Day. My point is that 99% of everyone else is sucking at it.
