“If you have a New York State driver license, learner permit or non-driver ID card, or a registration for a vehicle, boat or snowmobile, you are required by law to notify DMV within 10 days of any permanent address change.”

It ain’t even a thing, man. I just got around to changing mine (b/c the old one got stolen) after over two years at the new address. funny thing is, someone was nice enough to put the old one in the mail. One obnoxious thing I did find out during my 2 hour wait at License XPress was that if you’re getting a replacement and you don’t have the old license, they don’t let you take a new picture. How long do I have to look like an 18-year-old serial killer, I ask you? When will I be free?

Man, you were much quicker than I in picking up your new one. well, no surprise there. So they were able to replace the old one AND change the address at the same time, no sweat?

no doubt, just gotta use the old picture. Since when do you know how to drive, anyway?

He doesn’t. Ah, the beauty of the non-driver’s license. Not only do you have a state ID, you also have the government’s permission to walk and take public transportation for the rest of your life.

Whoa, you got a license in just 2 hours?? It took me about 5 hours.. whoo.. Hey, I have a friend who’s in his mid-thirties, and he still has his high school ID picture on his current license for some sort of similar reason as to why you do– let me tell you the picture verses reality is quite different, but what can ye do? I think it’s pretty funny.
